One Month Ago…

It is hard to believe, but it has only been one month since Wonder Giant launched. To us it feels like much longer mainly because of how much has happened in the past month, plus the all work leading up to the launch. Building a brand is not easy work, but it is immensely rewarding. The support from everyone alone makes it worth it, but watching the Wonder Giant truly come alive is icing on the cake.

We wanted to share some of things that have been accomplished, and some things to look for in the near future. Names will be withheld (for now).

In the Works:

  • Some gorgeous branding and site development work for a company that specializes in a very personalized gym experience. These people will be reshaping the way you do your workouts. No hamsters on treadmills with these guys.
  • A responsive web-design, and photography, for an up-and-coming architecture and development firm located in Chicago. They are dedicated to innovative thematic architecture and a true appreciation for the importance of the human element in design. We couldn’t be happier to help a company with such high regard for aesthetic values.
  • A complete overhaul of the Interactive Design Archive (http://www.idarchive.com/). The site has grown to a point where it is ready for its next evolution. The new version will include a slight rebrand, complete site redesign, and more types of content. We will be continuing the archive, plus adding video archives of “featured projects”, and interviews with experts in the industry. If you aren’t already following, there is plenty of additional content on the IDArchive Twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/idarchive), and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/idarchive)
  • An official “Wonder Giant” illustration. We are looking to nail down what the Wonder Giant looks like to us. It is a very mysterious creature who looks different to everyone, but we want to figure out what OUR Wonder Giant looks like. Once we reveal that, be on the lookout for some potential contests and giveaways.
  • Wonder Giant business cards. They should be here any day, and we couldn’t be more excited based on the quality results from past projects with Taste of Ink studio (http://tasteofink.com/).

Out Now:

  • Created an interactive presentation for a company that oversees the operations of health care ministries for over two million people. A partner of Wonder Giant had the misfortune of a bad contractor situation, so we were able to step in, clean things up, and redevelop the project from start to finish in the last couple days of his timeline. Always happy to help, especially when it is for a good cause.
  • Plenty of meetings with very interesting people. Our conversations with people have lead us to going to Air Conditioning Expos to see the latest and greatest in future air conditioning technology (surprisingly far more interesting than one might think), to conversations about giant Monty Python feet squishing people at very inopportune moments.

None of this would be possible without the crew of Wonder Giant, our supporters, clients, and friends. So thank you, and we look forward to helping everyone find their Wonder Giant.
